ShapeArena is operated by Softr Solutions. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data.

2. Data We Collect

Nickname — chosen by you, displayed publicly on leaderboards
Avatar selection — predefined avatars, no uploads
Drawing data — point coordinates and timing of your shape drawings
Technical data — browser type, device type (used for canvas rendering)

We do not collect email addresses, real names, phone numbers, or location data.

3. How We Use Data

Display your nickname and scores on leaderboards
Score your drawings server-side
Prevent abuse via rate limiting
Improve the application experience

4. Data Storage

Your user ID (UUID) is stored in your browser's localStorage. Drawing data and scores are stored in our PostgreSQL database hosted on DigitalOcean. No data is shared with third parties except as described below.

5. Third-Party Services

Google AdSense — may display advertisements after you submit a drawing. Google may use cookies for ad personalization. See Google's Privacy Policy.

6. Data Retention

Drawing attempts and scores are retained indefinitely for leaderboard purposes. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us.

7. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to:

Access your personal data
Request correction or deletion
Object to processing
Data portability

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
